Future Projects
QC C.A.R.E has been based, since its beginning, with a client-centered philosophy that offers progress towards as much personal freedom and accomplishment as each person with Autism can attain. To this end we are diligently working on programs, we think, would further this ideal for the individuals we serve.

Respite Program
For families with minor or adult age children living at home with autism disorder, Respite service, is a program designed to provide a trained staff member to provide facilitative care services in the home or in the community. Respite is designed to give parents and family members’ opportunities to benefit from a break from the management and care that autistic individuals often require. The service enables caregivers to have a well earned break from the demands of their autistic loved one, while providing their loved one with high quality care within an enjoyable, supportive environment.

Supported Employment
This supported employment program first helps each individual developed marketable skill to allow them to thrive in their chosen career. Also the program provides trained staff to help support and encourage individuals and help them thrive maintain employment. The program provides assistants in finding positions in the community, transportation to and from work and stays in continuous communication with the employee and employer to ensure productivity, job satisfaction, and social integration.

Community Training

Adult Day Service
The Adult Day program provides individuals with two key tools that foster community-based experiences and better community integration. One part of the program is the educational and vocational training. This part of the program encourages and enhances vocational skills through participation in both community and in-house vocational projects by working on general, social, and living skills. The next part of the program offers the individuals continued development in language, community integration and self-care as well as community-based experiences that help support and improve functional social skills through guided experience in a variety of settings. The overall goal of the Adult Day program is to promote independence, inclusion, individuality, and productivity that support attainment of individual goals and interests.
